TSN Sports
If a sport is played in Texas or of interest to Texans, listeners know the Texas State Networks will provide coverage for our affiliate radio stations during special Sportscasts four times a day, Monday thru Friday. Sports segments also are included in each of TSN's Expanded newscasts Monday through Saturday, with scores and updates as appropriate during hourly newscasts.
During football season, TSN and Host communications team up to present a variety of features dealing with Professional, Collegiate and High School gridiron contests, as-well-as play-by-play coverage of more than a dozen high school football play-off and Texas Bowl Championship games.
TSN distributes Texas Rangers play-by-play broadcasts to scores of stations around Texas and adjoining states. The network also airs a variety of baseball-related features throughout the season. In addition, TSN is the distributor of live play-by-play coverage of these other professional sports teams: Dallas Cowboys (English and Spanish language network), Houston Texans, Dallas Mavericks, Houston Astros.
Plus, TSN distributes play-by-play broadcasts of the University of Texas Longhorns (football & basketball)
