Roger Emrich - Sports Anchor/Reporter

Some people think Roger Emrich's physical stature is the reason he often is called the "Rajmahal", but there is another reason He is a human palace of sports exuberance with a wealth of broadcast and print journalism experience. He served newspaper stints with the New Orleans Time Picayune, the Press Republican in Plattsburg NY and in the U.S. Forces - both stateside and overseas in Crete, Greece. Rajmahal began his broadcast career with WCKW radio in LaPlace, LA, graduated from Loyola, New Orleans and served as sports director at KDNT in Denton before joining TSN as Capital Bureau Chief in Austin, where he also called Texas Lady Longhorn basketball on KLBJ and was public address announcer for UT Baseball. Since coming to Dallas Big Rog has anchored sportscasts and hosted talk shows on both TSN and anchor affiliate KRLD. He has been honored by the National Association of State Radio Networks for having the "Best Sportscast" and won a Dallas Press Club "Katie Award" for Best Feature.
