Keith Merckx - Assistant Agri-Business Director

Keith Merckx came to TSN on the first day of the new millennium after serving as Farm Director and as a General News Anchor/Reporter at KARN-AM and the Arkansas Radio Network in Little Rock. He started his radio career as a rock'n'roll deejay in 1988 and has worked in many formats since.

Keith's work has garnered widespread recognition including Associated Press Broadcasters Association awards for investigative reporting and for continuing coverage. He was named by the National Association of Farm Broadcasters as the winner of the Horizon Award for the South Region in 2001. Most recently Keith received national honors from the American Quarter Horse Association when he was awarded the Steel Dust trophy.

Keith earned his Bachelors Degree at Arkansas State University and his Masters Degree at Texas Christian University. He and his family make their home in Fort Worth.
