Brad Barton - Meteorologist
30 Year broadcasting veteran Brad Barton was born in the heart of tornado alley in Wichita, Kansas. He is a graduate of Mississippi State University and a member of American Meteorological Society. Brad is the recipient of four Dallas Press Club awards, recipient of the "Key to the City" for early warning of the Lancaster, Texas tornado and recipient of the "Edward R. Murrow Award" for coverage of the Fort Worth tornado.
Brad operates from the Texas State Network's flagship station - KRLD - one of only a few radio stations in the country with its own fully capable weather center.
Brad prepares agriculture weather forecasts every weekday morning for 6 discrete regional zones across Texas. He also provides twice daily weather summaries and forecasts for morning and midday listeners on the Texas State Network and the Texas Agri-Business Network.
