Barbara Schwarz: News Anchor

A native Dallasite, Barbara Schwarz has worked in television and radio newsrooms since the early 1980's. Among her honors, she is the 2007 recipient of the Houston Press Club "Lone Star" award for best public affairs program. Also, a four time StateNets awards winner, and a four time American Women in Journalism award winner. Barbara was the only Dallas area broadcast reporter to provide coverage of the attacks on the World Trade Center from New York City on September 11th, 2001. You can find her away from the city every weekend, riding her horse.
